Advanced
Balance Bike Course
Duration
4 × 1 hour sessions
Our balance bike course is designed for children aged 18 months to 4 years who want to take their first step towards learning how to ride a bike.
The course introduces children to a balance bike and develops their basic movement patterns, dynamic balance, and gross motor skills through a range of activities and games with rewards.
The course 2×30 minuet sessions will give children the skills and confidence required to ride a bike. All sessions are run by a highly qualified coaching team and equipment is provided.

Ages 10–12
Advanced
LEARN TO RIDE Course
Duration
4 × 1 hour sessions
This course is very popular and will build your child’s confidence whilst developing their skills and balance. The aim of the session is to give riders all the skills required to ride a bike with pedals independently.
We welcome a minimum age of 4 years old up to a maximum age of 12 years old.
What will I need to take part?
- A bicycle with any stabilisers removed
- Suitable clothing for weather conditions
- A helmet is required

Advanced
Cycle Safe Course Level 1
Duration
4 × 1 hour sessions
This course focuses on the basics of bike handling and control, building up valuable skills that help children to be more confident in controlling their bike in a safe off-road, environment.
We welcome a minimum age of 5 years old up to a maximum age of 11 years old.
Your child will learn how to:
- Helmet & Clothing
- Carry out a simple bike check
- Control the bike in a smooth, calm manner, including gliding, slowing down, and braking effectively
- Use Gears
- Manoeuvre safely to avoid objects
- Look all around, including behind (without loss of control)
- Signal right and left
- Stop quickly in control
- Share space with other riders

Ages 10–12
Advanced
Cycle Safe Course Level 2 (Advanced)
Duration
4 × 1 hour sessions
This course provides riders with the skills and confidence to cycle safely on quiet roads, specifically enabling them to negotiate junctions, share roads with traffic, and perform basic road-side manoeuvres.
We welcome a minimum age of 9 years old up to a maximum age of 14 years old.
Your child will learn how to:
- Start and finish a road journey
- Be aware of potential hazards
- Understand how and when to signal intentions to other roads users
- Understanding where to ride on the road
- Pass parked cars
- Pass side roads
- Make a U-turn
- Negotiate junctions (T-Junctions, roundabouts, Crossroads)
- Understand how to use cycle lanes
- Demonstrate decision making and understanding of safe riding.
